It’s hard to dismiss the stigma that chiropractors “aren’t real doctors” but if you were to ask the body, it might disagree.  Verte Chiropractic opened in our neighborhood of Baldwin Park less than a year ago and have already made a name for themselves as leaders in the chiropractic field in Orlando.  Run by husband and wife team, Dr. James Bailey and Dr. Taylor Wheaton, Verte Chiropractic uses top of the line technology and equipment to ensure their patients are not only relieved of pain but also have an overall better quality of life.

James and Taylor offer more than just adjustments in their gorgeous office on Jake Street, they are a full service office with in-house detailed diagnostic imaging, chiropractic BioPhysics, therapeutic laser treatment (K Laser Class IV), soft tissue mobilization and many other options.  As someone who has had soft tissue mobilization, I can tell you that, while it hurts a lot, it can be a real lifesaver.

Besides actually caring about their patients, they genuinely care about the community they live in having offered complimentary services for our first responders as well as taking an active role in the neighborhood associations.  Even more, the office is a true family affair with Taylor’s mom who has over 30 years in the medical industry visits often from up north and their adorable dog can often be found in the lobby and is more well known around the neighborhood than any of us.  If you are looking for a chiropractor who is the best of the best, go visit James at Taylor because they’re the real deal!

verte, Chiropratic

PS: A little secret for you: they’ve started the process of bringing a full-time massage therapist into the office for all of your massage needs…but keep that between us girls 🙂

I am consummate workaholic in need of a hobby (hence this site). I am recently married to an amazing man named Andrew who you will see pop up throughout the site and we live in a beautiful townhome that we purchased a couple of years ago in the Baldwin Park area of Orlando, right near downtown which is where we spend most of our time. I have an awesome family and many equally awesome friends who you will also see pop up periodically. I attended UCF where I studied Advertising and Public Relations. On the daily, I am a Territory Director for a Tallahassee and Atlanta based digital media solutions company that specializes in graduation and endurance sports photography. If you have graduated from high school or college in the U.S. or run a major marathon throughout Europe, Canada, Mexico and the U.S., chances are we’ve taken your photos. My job allows me the luxury, and sometimes burden, of traveling all over. The downfall to that is “all over” sometimes includes random places in the square states in the middle of the U.S. When I am not on the road for work, I work from home and need noise in the background so I also watch A LOT of TV. There isn’t much on Bravo that doesn’t cross my screen so I am here to admit that I am, in fact, a Real Housewives fanatic…there isn’t a city I don’t watch (except the brief Athens one and Bangkok because they’re not subtitled in English but if they were, watch out). I love pop culture, reality television and all the mainstream shows as well.
